Bengaluru, Feb 5: Karnataka BJP unit President B S Yeddyurappa today told the party men that the Janata Dal(S)-Congress coalition government would fall soon due to squabbles within the ruling partners and BJP can wait till it wilt under its own weight.
Speaking at a meeting to highlight BJP party's call before the Lok Sabha election with slogan ‘Bharat Ke Man Ki Baath, Modi Ke Sath’ he said BJP had 104 legislators in the 224-strong assembly and it was not trying to destabilise this ‘fragile government’.
"This is time when Karnataka is facing severe drought and over 150 taluks out of 176 are facing severe water shortage and villagers struggling for drinking water. In this scenario the JD(S) and Congress leaders are fighting for their selfish ends, and the people are watching."
