Mangalore, Apr 11: Swami Pranavanandaram, president of Bharath Kranthi Sena, urged that the complaint filed against local youth of Kodikere, Suratkal over an assault on a female Congress councillor few days ago should be immediately withdrawn, failing which he warned that she would be responsible if any untoward incident took place in the district.

Speaking at a press conference here on Friday, he said that several Hindu saffron groups would convene at Kodikere on Friday, to decide the further course of action if the complaint was not withdrawn against the Hindu youth. MLA Moidin Bava should withdraw his statement that the situation was in control in Kodikere, he said.

Speaking to Coastaldigest.com, he alleged that the case filed by local councillor Pratibha Kulai was false and politically motivated. It is a political conspiracy hatched to target Hindu youth in the district, for which the councillor should be removed from her party. The false allegations made by Pratibha Kulai against the youth trying to outrage her modesty have insulted the local residents of Kodikere. For this, she should make a public apology while MLA Moidin Bava should hand over his resignation, he said.

Swamiji also leveled allegations against Malabar Gold chain of jewellery stores, and stated that they had an equal hand in smuggling of gold into the country from foreign countries, pointing that several kilograms of gold were regularly seized at Mangalore, Bangalore and Kerala airports.
