Mangaluru, Apr 22: Parents should play vital role in building a bright future of the new generation by giving them proper education and guidance, sad health and family welfare minister UT Khader.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the career guidance camp What Next After SSLC and PUC' organised by the Help India Foundation at Thokkottu recently.
Inaugurating the event, Walter H D'Mello, DDPI, DK district, said that students should be given guidance but they should not be pressurised.
He also applauded the Help India Foundation for organising a career guidance camp at a time when the institutions imparting professional education in the district are competing with each other.
Umar UH, founder of Career Guidance and Information Centre, gave guidance to the students. Around 500 students were benefitted from the camp.
Foundation president Nasir Moideen presided over the inaugural session. Dr Hansraj Alva, Manjunath Revankar, Foundation secretary Abdul Razik Ullal, treasurer Abdlu Khader Bava, vice president Umar Farooq Vittla were present.
