Udupi, Jun 23: Shimoga MP B S Yeddyurappa has lashed out at chief minister Siddaramaiah for State government 's initiative to provide an additional Rs. 2 per litre of milk as incentive to milk producers of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

“All growers produce the same milk, so why discriminate against some,” he asked.
Mr. Yeddyurappa said he sat on a dharna for 28 days demanding that the controversial Shaadi Bhagya ' scheme be extended to all communities.
“Though the government relented, it shows that Mr. Siddaramaiah is least bothered about criticisms,” he said.
He said Mr. Siddaramaiah is speaking about not cooperating with Union Railways Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda.
“He should stop this and cooperate with Mr. Gowda as this will help in smooth implementation of railway projects in the State. Our leaders will urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to expedite railway projects in the State,” Mr. Yeddyurappa said.
