The deceased is Mohommad Ashraf (27). He is said to have been to Madina for an Eid 'namaz' and then returned to the room.
Next morning when he did not come out, the friends tried contacting him over the mobile.
When he did not receive the call, his friends broke open the door. Mohommad Ashraf was lying on his bed numb with stains of blood from nose and mouth, suggesting that he had a cardiac arrest.
Over the last four years he had been working in Saudi Arabia as an electrician.
He had been home in Haleyangadi two years ago and had promised the family to visit them again on holiday in 2013.
Ashraf had called home to convey greetings of Eid and had then complained to his mother of chest pain. He had said that he was positive of getting holiday after six months.
His father Abdul Khader was also employed in the same company for seventeen years and was now leading a retired life at Haleyangadi.
Ashraf is the second child of the five siblings born to Khader-Fathima couple.
An active member of Indian Fraternity Forum, Ashraf had been serving the Haj pilgrims every year.
Since the Saudi authorities said that the dead body could be flown to India after completion of all the procedure, within 15 days deceased's brother, relatives and friends performed the last rites at a Masjid in Jeddah.
