
Mangalore, Jun 13: Drivers miraculously escaped unhurt when two goods-laden lorries collided at Nanthoor circle in the early hours of Friday.
This is the second collision between heavy vehicles in last one month at Nanthoor Circle thanks to the reckless driving.
The incident took place at around 3.30 am when a Gujarati lorry plying towards Kerala rammed into another goods-laden lorry moving from Kaikamba to Kulur.
The impact of the accident was such that one lorry was the local lorry was overturned and badly damaged. The traffic police booth located on the circle was also uprooted.
It is learnt that the driver of lorry bearing Gujarat registration number was drowsy and lost control over his vehicle while reaching the circle.
