Dharmasthala, August 16: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has continued to visit temples even after stepping down from the power. On Monday, when the whole country was celebrating Independence Day, Mr Yeddyurappa paid a visit to Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala seeking divine intervention from Manjunatha.
CM is said to have offered special prayers to bring him out of the difficult situation and for the well-being of the state. He also met Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade and sought his blessings as well.
Rally
Speaking to the reporters during his Dharmasthala visit Mr Yeddyurappa said that he would hold a rally next week to reach out to people.
“I have discussed this with the Chief Minister and the party president. Rallies will be held in every district Centre to inform people about the development brought about by the BJP government,” he said adding that the rally will start in Mysore.
With regard to cabinet expansion he said that the decision of the party high command will be final.
