Jeddah, Dec 3: Saudi Arabian Airlines delayed one of its flights after a passenger claimed he saw the plane crash in a dream. The flight was supposed to travel from King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh to Jeddah on Tuesday morning.

The Saudi man caused pandemonium when he stood up from his seat and proclaimed, according to local media: “I dreamt that this plane would crash.”

The crew dealt with the man and handed him over to the police, and also asked the passengers to leave the plane so that it could be checked.

“A Saudi passenger on the plane stood up and pretended that he dreamed the plane would crash. The passengers were afraid because of this and left the plane to wait inside the airport. There was no announcement of a new date for the trip,” a passenger was quoted as saying.

Public Relations Director of Saudi Arabian Airlines Waleed Aloloumi said the flight took off from Riyadh for Jeddah after officials checked the plane.
