Abu Dhabi, Aug 3: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah received at his palace in Jeddah Sheikh Gen. Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi conveyed the greetings of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan to the King. In turn, the King sent his greetings to President Khalifa.
King Abdullah and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi reviewed the developments in the region, particularly the Palestinian cause. They discussed ways to stop the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip.
They also addressed prospects of cooperation between the two countries.
The audience was attended by Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, Minister of National Guard; and a number of officials.
