Bengaluru, Dec 19: Veteran Kannada film director and actor Boodal Krishnamurthy died at his residence here on Saturday after a prolonged illness. He was 71.
Boodal Krishnamurthy, born in Chitradurga in 1949, entered the film industry in 1973 with Siddalingaiah's son block blaster 'Bhootayyana Maga Ayyu'.
Boodal Krishnamurthy also acted in films such as Professor, Sreegandha, Turishina Kunkuma, Prajasakti, Nirma, Aryabhata etc.
